Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

  • Account data: name, email, password (hashed), home region, optional avatar, optional skill and stance.
  • Listings and profiles: photos, descriptions, pricing, location, and any details you fill in for gear or a community profile.
  • Inquiries and messages: the content of inquiries you send and receive, and the parties involved.
  • Browsing data: spots and gear you view, favorites, search terms.
  • Technical data: IP address, user agent, session cookie, request timestamps. Used for security, abuse prevention, and recording the moment you accept our Terms.

2. How we use it

  • Operate the marketplace and connect Bookers with Listers.
  • Keep the platform safe · detect abuse, prevent fraud, respond to reports.
  • Improve the product · measure what people use, what's broken, what's missing.
  • Send you transactional notifications about your account, inquiries, and listings.
  • Comply with our legal obligations.

3. Who sees your data

  • The other party in an inquiry: when you send an inquiry, the Lister sees your name, your message, and any contact information you choose to share. Future versions of ZTOKED may gate contact reveal until payment.
  • Service providers we rely on to run the platform · hosting, image storage, analytics, error monitoring. They access only what they need to provide the service, under contract.
  • Law enforcement when required by valid legal process or to protect users from harm.
  • We do not sell your data.

4. Cookies and sessions

We use a single httpOnly session cookie (ztoked_user) to keep you logged in. It expires after seven days. We don't use third-party advertising cookies.

5. Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we have on you, correct it, or delete your account. Email hello@ztoked.com and we'll handle requests by hand at launch. We're building self-service tools and will document them here when they ship.

6. Children

ZTOKED is for users 16 and older. If you believe a minor under 16 has created an account, email us and we'll remove it.

7. Where we keep data

Your data is stored on hosted infrastructure in the United States. By using ZTOKED you accept that your data may be processed there.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The version date at the top is authoritative. For material changes we'll notify you in the app.
